As a result, you’ll enjoy a truly personal experience as opposed to a more standard holiday rental you’d expect in a vacation park. “Muschelsucher” is available for enjoyment outside of our own family for the first time starting late 2022.
Located right behind the Grevelingen dyke in Den Osse (a kilometer to the west of Brouwershaven), you’ll be only 50 meters away from the water and your swimming spot on a pebble beach. The nearest sandy beach is a mere 200 meters away and features an exquisite small restaurant (best spare ribs within an hour’s drive!) as well as an outdoor snack and drink bar that’s open in the Summer season.
Downstairs you’ll find one bedroom which accommodates two people comfortably, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. The open kitchen is fully equipped, including a Bosch dishwasher, and features an eating area. It opens to a living room with a comfortable couch, a wood-burning stove and amenities such as a (small) TV (with nearly every German channel) as well as a stereo which allows you to play your playlists through Bluetooth.
The unheated and extremely cozy conservatory opens up to the garden. We personally love the conservatory; fantastic during summer evenings with the outside doors opened up, but even better during those rainy nights when darkness sets in early. The garden and its lounge chairs is quite private due to the vegetation; a perfect spot to warm up right before or after a dive into the Grevelingen, the largest saltwater lake in Western Europe, 50 meters away.
A spiral staircase in the living room brings you to the second floor. Here you’ll find the second bathroom, also featuring a double bed, as well as a bathroom with a second toilet, and a bathtub under the sloped roof and skylight. Another favorite spot for those colder, rainy nights outside of the summer season ;-)
There’s free parking at the property for two cars. The holiday park’s amenities, such as a supermarket, sports activities, a kids’ club, are at an easy walk’s distance. Throughout the park there are playgrounds. All in all a perfect setting for a family vacation!
In the summer period from July to the end of August, the minimum stay is 7 nights, arrival and departure on Friday.
